What this area offers.

The National and state parks are minutes away, offering fishing, hiking, horse back riding, incredible water falls and mountain scenery. There are more than a dozen public golf courses in the area including a Jack Nicklaus course at Birch River.

Antiquing is also a favorite pastime. There are festivals and celebrations almost year round, including Oktoberfest in Helen and Gold Rush Days in Dahlonega. Nearby Cleveland, hosts the famous Babyland General Hospital, home of the Cabbage Patch Kids. Cleveland offers shopping and a wide variety of restaurants. The charming town of Alpine Helen offers unique shops, restaurants and entertainment.
